Semi Truck Crosses Over Solid Line, Hits Another Car #CaughtOnBlackVue
A dual-channel dash cam - meaning two cameras instead of one, typically front and rear - can be extremely helpful in case of an accident, especially in the dreaded "he said, she said" situations.
BlackVue user Nige was driving to work early that day; it was still dark outside. There was a semi-trailer truck behind him and it tried merging into the lane Nige was in - crossing over solid line to do so. The truck hit the back of Nige's car, spinning him around across the street. Thankfully, he stopped just shy of the concrete barrier on the side of the road, avoiding crashing to anything and anybody else.
Apparently, the driver of the truck stopped and didn't deny anything on the scene of the incident. However, when Nige later contacted his insurance company, they told him the other driver tried refuting the claim. Nige quickly send in the footage recorded by the rear camera of his BlackVue dash cam that cleared everything up.
"Thank goodnes for front and back dash cams!" Nige told us.
