The art of Lithophanes by the House BernardaudDiscover the new Dior Art de Vivre creation, an exclusive offer designed in collaboration with Bernardaud, the French master of lithophanes. Created in the 19th century, this traditional technique sees patterns engraved on unglazed porcelain, a very specific ceramic composed mainly of kaolin. To obtain a perfect white and translucent piece, it is fired twice at more than 1000 degrees for more than 24hours.
